Philly is toying with the idea of an early call up and letting Laine loose on the league.
Jamie Benn would need a new home if that were to happen, so we'll entertain offers if anyone is looking for a true top winger. If our socks aren't knocked off, Laine waits till next year.
Looking for 2018 picks/prospects. A roster player isn't necessary to come back, but wouldn't be ruled out.
We also still open to move one of Savard or Muzzin for picks as well.
I'm usually not around during the day so replies won't usually happen until evening.

I'm surprised teams just don't sign guys into the CPHL as soon as they are established now. Ratings are primarily based on the most recent year's stats, so there is little upside to holding them down there. Sign them and add a top line player at an entry level price, while maximizing years of service before UFA status.
I used to hang on to guys down there but now I'm going to just sign them when they are ready. I don't see the advantage in not doing that.
