Will be interesting watching how monahan tries to play around the premier shut down defenceman and former calgary flame reg.....my guess is that monahan will head to the showers at 15.22 of the first.....

It's actually an 11:30 start time for the guys in the East but I agree it's not the same caliber of crappiness as watching from Europe.
Even I get impatient waiting for these 8-8:30 start times haha.

Because Smith already cleared waivers and was free to be assigned to the AHL. If the Flames wanted to assign another defenseman down there they would have to clear waivers first. Smith was just the easiest player to dump is all.

We really dont have a center that is physical unless we move Bouma there. Actually had that to start but didn't like the way the wings worked out then.

Hartley is waiting until after warmup to decide if Cammy is playing or if Horak/Jackman come in so I don't think lines are really set.

I am pretty sure you have to file something with the League. Something to do with medical/injury clearance for liability reasons. Not saying you can't do that quickly with an email, but the fact it hasn't been done yet was odd.
However, reports are Cammy is on the ice for warmups.
