Great start for Canada! Going to be tough to keep it up for the full game, but up 10 midway through the first.

Up by nine going into the fourth. A little bit of an issue at center... Olynyk at 4 fouls, Powell playing through a sore back, and Canada got absolutely toasted during Edey's minutes in the first half. How they handle the center minutes in the last quarter will be key.

Bronze!
Really awesome game. Brooks setting a Canadian record with 39 points and hitting 7 3s, SGA doing his usual superstar thing, Brooks and Dort playing gritty defense all game long. This was a hugely entertaining game. Canada built up a 13 point lead in the early 2nd, US came all the way back by halftime. Canada up 10 going into the fourth, US came all the way back in a couple minutes. Canada up four with 5 seconds left, crazy sequence for the US to tie it, and then Canada taking over in overtime. So proud of this team.

LeBron being LeBron is always amusing. Kerr's already been working to recruit Steph. Durant is a three-time Olympian and also has a good relationship with Kerr. If these guys decide to play, it won't be because LeBron recruited him. The US has never had problems getting stars to play in the Olympics. But LeBron can't help recognizing a moment where he can insert himself into the process to take credit for something.

I used to hate Lebron, especially after the Decision.
But man, he voluntarily went back to Cleveland! I mean sure he was born there but he went back!
Besides I hate Draymond Green 10000 times more than Lebron so I was super happy they came back and beat Golden State that year. The year where Green kicked a guy in the nuts 3 times.

Canada up to 6th in the FIBA standings.

Didn't think they'd get that much of a boost, but if the Olympics are seeded the same way as last time, they'll get into the second pot and avoid the US, Australia, and Serbia in the opening group stage.
