He's turning 20 next month?
Seems to be an over-ager
Good pick though

34g, 29a in 63 games. Right wing. Big body. I like it.
7g, 3a in 11 playoff games this year.

Flames are going big again in this draft. Hope it doesn't turn out like another 2014 situation but at least these are late-round picks.

Big jump in offensive production. Some times players bloom late and Fischer seems to be one of those. Jumped 50 points from his draft year.

Edit: rushed to judgment on this one. Would have preferred a skilled guy but Fischer seems to at least have minimum NHL offensive ability and if he's a great fighter then at least he has one great attribute.
Its nice to have skilled toughness but this guy is probably a Hathaway at best

145 PIMS in 62 games, okay then. Definitely a fighter.

lol my 6 year old just started following and watching hockey a lot more this year, and the Tigers are his favorite team and Fischer is his favorite player. He's going to be excited about this.

Fine with me, maybe a late bloomer. Like I said in the Ruzicka thread, chances of a pick in these rounds making are low anyway, may as well go with a guy you have a gut feeling about.
