Blues used the pick to select Kostin, who could be the next Tarasenko (not style comparison just an impact comparison) for a "goon" and a 2nd round pick. Not bad

Guys who are legitimately tough who can play are very rare these days. Reaves is one of the few in the league who's managed to survive as the league has gone away from the goons/fighters.

Engelland probably underrated by fans for being a tough guy who can legitimately play.
Reaves probably underrated by fans as well.

You can't waste a spot on a pure goon anymore but Reaves can take a regular shift. Probably some protection for Crosby and friends.
