Was not a fan of him when he was first signed, and I believe Hartley's system worked against him. I thought he played fantastic all year in that #5 role; was steady in his own end, on the penalty kill and was a thorn in most opponents sides. Also sounded like a great teammate in the room. Wow. They thought so little of our other choices, they signed a guy who was will be a free agent in about a week.

Will be interested to see his contract. I like the role he played here but felt he was overpaid by about 30 or 40%.

Or they just didn't want to eat up a contract slot with a player they didn't really want anyways.

They should sign him. It'd be good for them to have a player that can talk to other players about living in Vegas and someone that can be on hand to do community events in the offseason. Plus the leaks have them light on RHD.
