yep. while raanta and darling were being traded for and signed, chevy decided to make a call out from his cottage to re-sign the absolute defensive nightmare and tire fire ben chiarot.
i ####ing hate our gm so much. easily the worst gm in the league, and its not even close.
Seriously who is Chiarot? I take pride in knowing everyone and anyone that plays or has played in the NHL. I have no idea who this is... Sounds made up to me.

He's an awful bottom pairing D man who shouldn't be in the NHL. But Cheveldayoff only knows how to listen to his scouts and tell people who he's drafted. The mans a joke.
I feel so bad for Jets fans. Just years and years of no ambition or risk from their GM. Their fans must go crazy when they watch other teams improve year after year while they know they can pretty much only improve by development (which admittedly they have done, but that can only take you so far).

Are you even a Jets fan???
Chiarot has just had a better playoff career (in 2 games) than basically all of the current Flames defensemen not named Brodie.
Thread was started by a Jets fan
Then it was bumped a year later by another Jets fan who masquerades as a Flames fan
In that bump he manages to cut down the Flames on a Flames message board in a thread that has nothing to do with the Flames and wasn't started by a Flames fan
Impressive trolling
Question: Are we ever going to stick a fork in this guy or what?
I don't mind Flames fans giving it to the Flames at a time like this. We've earned the right to do so. But not some chump who's been throwing up all over this board for over 10 years while pretending to be a Flames fan.

Lol, sweet bump. I'm not sure what having hockey opinions have to do with being a fan though.
It is a nice reminder though that there is very little certainty in this game. What we think one year may be completely different the next. That goes for players, GMs... Even coaches.
