I'm curious to see the dollar value. He certainly played well for them after arriving, but you have to wonder if last year might have been lightning caught in a bottle. The rest of his career wasn't much like that.

He seemed to be a pretty good fit there. I think it's an okay deal. He likely isn't scoring 30 again, but for that money you can live with 20 goals.

Really good contract IMO. They have a top flight RW for each or Getzlaf, Kesler and Rakell if they decide to roll their lines like that. The Ducks are in win now mode, but they probably have to win in the next 2 years before that roster implodes.
