Wow I saw that Pacific goal. That was embarassing for the Cavs. But glad they eked out a win!

First time watching a CPL match today. #34 for Pacific FC, Manny Aparicio, was brilliant. Without him holding things down in midfield the score may have gotten out of hand.

It was fun watching the Cavs game today - I’ve been to too many games to count, and this was the first time I was like ‘huh… the Cavs are distinctly the more talented team than Pacific.’ I think the score totally flattered Pacific quit a bit; could have been 5-1 Cavs. Klomp is just an unreal defender, what a talent. And Musse stepped up again today like a boss!

The Cavs win was great and all…but I won the hardest shot at the VW booth. That’s the real story of the day.

IMO this was just a continuation from the last regular season game, which was important for Pacific, meaningless for us, and we trounced them. We didn't lose to them all year after they seemed to have our number last year.

Once Tommy sees that, you’ll be signed immediately!

(Isn’t that for kids though?)

There was a kids AND an adults category! 103 km/hr for moi. The kids were convinced I had won the VW car that was on display lol.

I’ll let Tommy know I’m available Vs Forge.

Sounds like the club is planning for CONCACAF games to be at Spruce Meadows. Officials were there a few weeks ago checking out the venue.

Fantastic news. Anyone know what the schedule looks like? Do they need to get out there and take a comb to the grass so it freezes perfectly in place next week to be preserved for our next home game in February?

I still can't believe we're even talking about Cavalry playing in CONCACAF. Thought we were a mid table side at best, and for the first 1/4 of the year that prediction looked optimistic. Cavalry have wildly exceeded my expectations and it's been a great year, regardless of the result next week.

But also let's get that double.

If we had won two weeks ago, would the match actually be played in this weather on Saturday? I doubt very much that the pitch has undersoil heating.

Aside from being right at the game, I'd say Ship on 17th or Kildare's down south - both are the official homes of the Cavs during away games and will likely have the best atmosphere. I'll definitely be at the Ship with friends that night!

CONCACAF has announced that the draw for the Champions Cup will be on December 13. The first round will be played Feb 6-8 (leg 1) and Feb 13-15 (leg 2). Bring 294387325 layers.

Cavalry have played at Spruce Meadows in the -12 , so bring it on.

We’ve played in worse!

I’m not sure how they’ll do a February game though.
