LOL.... no. That is quite the knee-jerk.

Vegas will have most of

Stephenson
Stone
Carrier
Roy
Pietrangelo

back in their line up for the playoffs.

Hill was rusty and made a lot of errors. This game simply does not have any bearing on a series between these two teams. Just the jockeying for position to solidify the match up. Vegas will have a chance to jump ahead of LA and I hope that they do.

This was assuming none of those players come back but I agree otherwise. Mark Stone has a serious injury and even if he makes it back its doubtful he will be 100%

Not sure what that zary moustache guy has against me, but I think the kings will be hungry to not get bounced for the third time. Knights just look defeated.

I don’t think so. Draisaitl owns them. Something like 28 points in their last 10 games played.

Fizzling out in the playoffs is in the Oilers' DNA though. You can't fight nature!

How many points did McDavid have against the Jets going into that playoff series with all the pompous Oiler pundits looking ahead to second and third round match ups only to be eliminated in a sweep?

That's the flaw in your evaluation. You approach regular season results and playoff projections the same.

You don't know how a PO series with Nashville would actually go until you've played a PO series with Nashville.

Isn't there an Edmonton Oilers board you can pleasure yourself to?

Both WNN and E=NG have made questionable posts that come off like some troglodyte Oiler fan making sarcastic swipes at CP.

I think chances are good that they're both trolls in disguise, which is the lamest kind of troll.

lol, troll in disguise. How many times do I need to disclose to you I’m an oilers fan. I like the banter here, participate in the off topic and other sports, respect it’s your house, I’m not trying to change any minds but I will throw in when you guys get the facts wrong. And some of you get them wrong a lot.

You guys seem to have that under control after an oilers loss.

Canucks going to OT with the lowly coyotes. C'mon canucks, don't let the oilers get closer to first in the pacific!

At least you owned up to it. That's good.

What's to get wrong?

8 years of McD, no division titles, no conference championship, no cup.

I think CP gets the only fact that matters right 100% of the time: E=NG.

At least VAN got a point.... If the flames can step up against the kings and Vegas finishes strong could still have knights/oilers in round 1. Vegas can be better than they were tonight.

Oilers lose the tie-breakers with VAN as well, so they'd have to be ahead in points.

The Oilers can still pass the Canucks on RWs and ROWs. The Canucks lead in RWs, 42-38 with the Oilers having 5 games left. The ROWs are 48-46 for the Canucks.

So you don't think they are one of the worst offenders in the league for diving and otherwise faking injury or reacting in such a way as to draw penalties?

Come on now. The move where McDiver holds the defenders stick close to his body then acts like he's getting hooked is Oscar worthy. And he does it constantly.
