Reminder: Pending UFAs cannot be traded
Folks
Do not submit any deals involving pending UFAs.
Rights to UFAs cannot be dealt.
They can be signed by their original team, if that team has cap space, and then traded, but not before.
This is not a new rule, so I'm not sure why there is new confusion this year.
Any deals involving pending UFAs will be rejected. I rejected one this morning and reversed another.
