Harrison was scratched. He may play tomorrow.

OP has been updated. Should be accurate to today. Let me know if you see something wrong.

No word from the Heat in that regard, but I do believe he is hurt. He took a massive open ice hit from Duncan Siemens in the opener. He got up right away and fought Siemens himself. Because of that I never thought anything of watching for him the rest of the night, but in retrospect I didn't remember seeing him again and when I went back and re-watched the game on AHL live I still never saw him again.

Gaudreau with a goal in an exhibition game against SFX.

His brother Matthew also had an assist in the game.

So he's at 12 points in 7 games now with 6 G and 6 A. Not bad.

Klimchuk picked up 2 assists and scored in the shootout in a 5-4 win.

Pretty sure he's hurt. We'll probably find out Tuesday for sure.

Flames Future Watch Update: http://flames.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=685826

Poirier named the First Star of the week in the QMJHL.

Poirier, Roy, Klimchuk, and Gordon each lead their teams in points.

Anthony Mantha with 11G 7A in 7GP. Heck of a prospect for the Red Wings.

That's nice, too bad he isn't a Flames prospect and then that info could be discussed in a FLAMES prospect thread...

Yeah, considering he was taken at 21 immediately before us taking Emile. For that reason I felt it would have garnered some minor interest here.

But topic nazi will be topic nazi.

What? Are you suggesting that the Red Wings passed on Shinkaruk?

Say it isn't so.

Speaking of Hunter how is he doing? Hopefully not as good as Poirier.
