One of my fondest childhood memories is the autographed picture i got at the World of Wheels. Kept it in my grade 3 desk all year. RUnning home after school, grabbing an ice cream bucket of home made doughnuts and watching Batman.

Does anyone else read 'rip batman' and then immediately hear Adam west's voice saying, 'rip batman? Not on this day, chum.' POW! WAM!

One of the actors that you can hear him say one word and know immediately who is speaking.

My late father and I would watch this every week when I was just a wee lad. We marveled at the Batmobile and all the inventions.

Gawd I feel old!

I remember going to the Stampede and they had the Batmobile on display.

He got the Batman role because of this commercial. It's easy to see why.

I just read a tweet that said West and Frank Gorshin (the Riddler) got kicked out of an orgy for insisting on staying in character.

lol at " I don't want to attract any attention to myself" - classic.

Personally, I never understood why the joker, riddler and other enemies always dreamt up the elaborate plan to take care of batman, then they would the the area and just leave a stooge behind. Why not just bust a cap in him and then move on.

Can hardly wait for 2017 to end, the toll has been unbearable.

You really didn't understand why TV shows and comics don't shoot the main character.....
