Oh god, Pinterest/Vine/Buzzfeed/Facebook have finally infiltrated the midway.
Oreo rice.
Oreo Churros.
And I'm sure a 1/2 dozen more new items are lifted straight from buzzfeed or reddit.

Oh yeah, I second this! I was really into their album, and saw them live a year or so ago when they passed through Calgary. It was easily the worst live performance I have ever seen, no energy or stage presence, everything seem super mumbled and it just sounded like garbage, and it was straight up boring.
I was hoping it's because they are a new band, still new to touring and performing live which would eventually become more polished as they gained experience, but I'm doubting that's the case. Wouldn't pay to see them again, but if it's free at the Coke Stage, I'd wander by to catch a song or two.

My wife bought rodeo tickets for Wednesday. Is that Kids day or anything bad I want to avoid?

You want to avoid the free days. That's all I remember. Unless you like crowds. Anyway, I think the free days are on the weekend.

Ya, I checked the Stampede site but there is no info on the special days yet, but I know they tend to be the same year to year, so was wondering if anyone remembers if Wednesday is special.

After 37 years they are booting the SuperDogs out! Replacing them with an outdoor canine show that is US based.

It was pretty much the same show every year, I'm glad we're going to get to see something new

Ugh that sucks, I enjoyed the superdogs show plus it was always nice to sit in an AC building for 30 mins.

This x2. It sounds like they're changing the show and moving it outside. Do they even realize that half the people in there are just seeking respite from outside?

I'm also not a fan of exposing the dogs to 30+ weather on the midway during the summer. Lots of canceled shows due to rain is a huge issue.
IMO a brutal decision by the stampede.
