I've heard that sometimes if there's a baddie standing on the middle plate, it can trigger the totems, but I haven't seen it happen. Probably best to have your sniper keep the plate clear just in case.

me and a friend took an hour trying to get in to a group together. When we finally did, voice chat didn't work.

Is fire team chat terrible for anyone else (xbox one)?

My buddy and I get constant cutouts. And we are both on shaw internet (25mb for him and 50 for me)

Was fine to start. Been getting worse with the cap being today.

Worked fine on ps4 all day. A group of us took on Crota and it took us all damn day, but we finally kicked his arse. Was awesome, just as we wiped the final blow was struck and rewards flowed forth as the screen went black. Was epic!

So I had a brief chat yesterday, and it got me thinking. Do we have a CP guild thing for XBox? Would we be interested in one? Does it make coordinating things easier? Also, would anyone want to set a specific day of the week to do stuff like VoG or Crota together?

Clans do nothing besides putting the name of the clan underneath your gamertag. Pretty useless feature

There are two trophies/achievements related to wearing the clan tag and it definitely helps me identify who are CPers when I have a large friend list.

I wear mine with pride.

Again -- you can buy this at any store. You can buy the equipment you need to get to 29 (once it's upgraded) and then pick up an exotic piece from Xur and upgrade it to get to 31. You just have to put the time and effort into getting it instead of hoping it magically falls from the sky (which it can, but it's best not to count on that).

Been doing that. Sadly most groups flame out on Gatekeepers. A much better plan is finding a dedicated group of players to do it with. Not only are you more likely to accomplish the goal, eventually the group starts to feel a sense of progression.
