I watched the first 5 episodes. That was enough for me. I found it too simple, with topics already visited and it offered nothing new. At least to me. It's still around so I'm obviously in the minority and shows at the same time last year that tried something different failed.

Yeah each his own.
I think it will ring true with individuals my age (40) that remember the 80's clearly.

Yeah, I've watched it since it came on. I really like it. It is a sitcom so I don't expect West Wing level of writing, but it does have some really good moments and since I went to high school in the 80s the pop-culture references and music really draw me in.

This last episode was one of the strongest I gave seen out of them.

For me it is the music more than anything. They do a great job of picking a period song that fits with the story.
Last night's episode was a bit blah, but using Bruce Hornsby's "The Way It Is" at the end redeemed the episode for me.
That's also a reason I'm a sucker for a bunch of Adam Sandler movies - the 80s music triggering nostalgia.

I used to watch it right after Shield. Now that they've changed the time slot, I keep forgetting about it. But when I do watch it, it totally makes me laugh. "Big Tasty" Barry and Adam are both absolutely hilarious. I think the last episode I watched was when they made that NKOTB fan video to show their "hatred" of them. Quality stuff right there.
The 'barry's day off episode' this week was hallarious. Love all the ferris buller references and it was funny to see Charlie Sheen in the police station again. His comment as he was leaving was a great detail.

Yeah, I'm always surprised how many of the lyrics I still remember when the songs come on. When "The Way it Is" started playing, I was immediately transported back to junior high school - 80s music has a strong hold on me, for sure.
I also love the real footage that shows up at the end of each episode. Icing on the cake.
