Default Enjoyable Broadcast Teams

Do you have a radio broadcast team you like listening to?
I find the Leafs broadcast team of Joe Bowen & Jim Ralph very entertaining, they know the game very well and their self-effacing humorous style are quite hilarious. Butch Goring, the Isle's TV colour commentator is very entertaining with his 'Yogi Berraisms'.

I saw some of the Preds/Wings game today, and the announcers were highly entertaining in the amount of whining they did for how unfair the Wings were being treated. Very enjoyable.

Taking it back a while, Don Whitman on PBP and he had (among others) John Davidson or Scotty Bowman as color.

John Davidson was great back in the day.

I'm going with the Home tandem for CGY this year. couldn't have dreamed a better tandem.

Don Whitman was a PBP god as was Ed Whelan. Today I quite like Hughson and Simpson.

Back in the day there was no better tandem than Danny Gallivan and Dick Irvin.

Gallivan's last game as a PBP announcer for HNIC

Then there is Dave Hodge for all the wrong reason.

The famous video that got him fired from HNIC....

Dick Irvin & Bob Cole have the best sounding voices.

Ball & Hrudey do an excellent job as far as I'm concerned. Kerr was just horrid. No other word for it.

I admire Don Whitman greatly but I was never a huge fan of his hockey PBP.
Steve Armitage though I always enjoyed - thought he was vastly under-rated.

Whitman one of my personal favorites. He was an awesome announcer but when it came to CFL he was king to me.

I like the TV and Radio guys for The Flames.

I always thought Wittman was top shelf. He made some amazing calls during the 04 run as well.
