Yup, 4 goals in 3 games on a key road trip.

Hudler, Bouma, Backlund and Jones have been invisible.

Penalty shot for ferland....

Sad to see things drying up at this point, but we simply don't have enough talent (passers and scorers) in the offensive lines.

Feel bad for the goalies, they've been 20x better than expected most nights out.

When you score 4 goals in 3 games, safe to say the whole offence has stunk the joint, no need to single out 4 guys. All need to pick up their game.

Would be tempted to try Ferland-Granlund-Poirier line on the PP even if it was on the second unit. They were the best line again tonight, just wish they could get a bit more icetime and hopefully pot a couple of goals.

Diaz was decent, he played better tonight than in the previous 2 games.

Englandd was horrible...bad things almost every single time he was on the ice.

Potter was shakey but hardly played.

Russell was great ...I was very impressed with his game.

Wideman stepped up ... I wouldn't be surprised if he led the group in ice time. He had a couple turnovers, etc, but also had some good plays from the point

Brodie seemed to have a strong game...very steady.

Johnny - Mono - Hudler

They were great in the NJD game, so I'm not sure they need to be split up, necessarily.

These guys are the top line ...one is a rookie and another in just his second season, so they're going to have some rough games...but it's notice the Flames have better Fs to replace them on the first line.

Hudler had a strong game against NJD...he and Johnny were dangerous together

The Isles are one of the best teams in the league, even when healthy the Flames are not.
On the road, a loss would be the expected outcome.

On to Philly

It's hard to watch this team work its tail off but not have enough skill or finish to put them over the edge in a close game. Too bad Cammy or another player couldn't have signed to give them that extra 25-30 goals, especially after the year this team is having.

Gary Galley. Shut the #### up. You were basically a no body when you played. You were the Colby Armstrong of your day we don't care. Your a colour guy for THIS game so focus on this game. Just shut the #### up.

IMO the boys on the back end took another step with out Gio tonight.

LOL!!

Yes....guys who played over 1100 games and scored 600 pts in this league as defensemen are "nobodies".

Whine and complain about his commentary all you like, but lets let facts not be destroyed in the process eh?

Good grief.

Bouma needs to be pushed back a line or two and replaced by Glencross or Colborne.

Didn't get to see the game, but every team has spells of difficulty scoring. Someone posted about how looking at LA you can see how we need a better top six. Really? Because they've scored less than ours. These things come and go. You just have to hope it comes back before it's too late

All dependent on the game winning goal. If you're in net and your team scores the gwg, you get the W. If you give up the gwg then you get the loss. You can literally play one shift of the game but if you're on for the gwg, whether for or against, then you get the stat.
