Really stupid move for the Panthers...give up draft picks for a guy that will be on your team for a couple of months. No wonder they have been rebuilding for 20 years, you don't make this kinda move unless you are a contender

First time that he's ever been in an organization with that attribute.

I'd be pretty pumped if I was them. They've got an excuse for a spring trip to sunny Florida!

So this is more of a case of the Panthers joining Jagr, then.

He should be great with Barkov. He can teach the youngster how to master the Giant Butt school of hockey.

They had to do something to replace Bergenheim.

A surprisingly good return for a player born in the mid 1700s.

exactly the move I hope the Flames WON'T make ... the Panthers are rebuilding and are a playoff bubble team right now, just like the Flames. Making the playoffs would be a bonus. You don't give up a 2nd and a 3rd in that situation for a rental.
nice move by the Devils. Add Jagr for nothing and get two picks a few months later. Found money.

Over a quarter of Jagr's remaining games are against his former teams. 6 of 22.

He's not that good anymore, hasn't been for a while. I don't think he was even that good for the Bruins during their cup run with him.

At that price it's a relief that the flames didn't go out and get him.
