Wild push the Flames right to the edge, but not over it. Wonder if we will come to regret that. This series has been absurdly close. I think 5/6 games have been one goals with two OT results.

BOOOM! Mike Komisarek scores the OT and series winning goal for the Sens. Congrats to Dave and the Jackets on an excellent series, could have gone either way.

Double OT and Bruins win. Game 7, winner take all. Another injury as Sobotka get injured, Schneider faces crap ton of shots, Oduya misses a penalty shot. Not a good day for Flyers. Not looking good at all.

Congrats to Phoenix on moving on. Well fought series and the obvious better roster.

We generated the shots we needed this game but Rinne stood tall and Mike Smith was garbage, with a .786 save percentage. We needed more out of him.

Pekka stood tall on game 6 and prevented a dramatic game 7 showdown. When we needed him he showed up to play, with the offense also clicking.

Thanks and congratulations to Mitch on his season. Turned around his team significantly

Wow Markov is the game 6 hero with a goal in double OT. His first game back from injury, Id considered sticking with my roster from the big win in game 5, glad I didnt.

Flyers are beat up and Schneider is 98OV after facing 59 shots. Will be interesting to see if he plays tomorrow or if the Flyers will put Enroth back in - he did beat us earlier this series. Would be quite the feat if he played and won.

On to game 7! Looking forward to it.

Edmonton holds serve at home and forces a game 7. We knew this series would be close, should be a great finish to a tough series!

Flames beat the Wild on a PP goal from Alffy after Sid gets nailed for tripping in OT.
Game 7 for Round 1 marbles tomorrow...should be a barn burner.

Well as expected it was a close series all 6 games decided by one goal, three to OT. congrats to the pens we knew we didn't match up ideally with them as they shared our strength of elite goaltending but also brought more firepower. while seemingly minor in the scheme of things being without zanon and bailey all series did have an impact on our depth

Default Day 6 Results

Very tight game to end a very tight series. Our offense found it's groove the past two games and I think that was the difference in the series. Gallagher stepped up big in this game betting two goals. The PP went 2-2 and the penalty kill was perfect. That was the difference on this night. We knew we needed to roll the dice on some big lineup changes and brought in Klesla, Corvo, and Zubrus for their first playoff games of the year.
Congrats to the sabres on a great season and a tough fought series. They were victim of the sim turning on them at the worst possible time down the stretch.
