The Flames made playoffs.
This is good, but the snake cares not.
Snake's only concern is 96 points.

Need to win both the last two games to hit 96 points, but we now have no chance of finishing top 3 in the division.
Anaheim or Chicago in round 1, with a very outside shot at it being Edmonton.

Could still play the Sharks, too, unless I'm missing something. They own a ROW tiebreaker if they win out.

They're 4 back.
Anaheim has 101 with 2 games remaining (Chicago and LA).
Edmonton has 97 with 3 games remaining (San Jose and Vancouver x 2).
San Jose has 97 with 2 games remaining (Edmonton and Calgary).
If the Ducks lose out and the Sharks win out without giving the Oilers a point on Thursday, the Sharks will finish first because of ROW.

Nashville is in Dallas and then Winnipeg to closeout the season. Nashville would have to lose one or both games and Calgary needs to keep pace but can't win against San Jose. Of course the scenario above has to play out as well.

With only one game left on the schedule, the snake has one chance to reach the 96 point mark. With 94 points, only a win matters to the red snake. It is currently 0.829 points below the black line.
The penultimate, regular season snake:

thanks for the snake Squiggs. Can't believe how many times I've checked this thread and how many snakes have been posted.
the mighty red snake, may it continue to get 'a big 2pts' in the post season!

GOAT!

If this chart doesn't have a little spurt animation at the tip of the red line (snek!) if it hits 96pts, I will be disappoint.

I started one for the Vancouver series in 2015: http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showpos...&postcount=273
It works fine for one series, but I didn't figure out a way to make it work on the same graph for the second round (and beyond), so I just stopped posting it after 3 games. I'll see what I can do this year.

Not sure if this is the correct thread to ask but....
Is it proper to wear a snek costume to a game? What if the costume was a red snek?

What if instead of points you make it based on wins? 16 wins gets us the cup.
