Thank goodness, after the cash in sequel that was Bioshock 2, the original developer returns to show them how to do a real, original, cool sequel. This looks and sounds straight up fantastic.

Wow. I've never played Bioshock. Was never really interested, but this trailer definitely has me interested in trying out the original so I can play this one!
Bioshock 2 was a good game, not as brilliant as the first, but the 2nd was definitely a cool game. Playing with the Little Sister and the end was fantastic. The beginning-middle was mediocre but the ending and finale was sick.
That gameplay video got me super excited. 2 years away, damn. Hopefully that means it will be a longer game than the first 2. It was weird though that his hand wasn't up with the varies deformations (from the plasmids), hopefully they put that back so I know what kind of plasmid I am using.
Don't skip it. The story in Bioshock 2 is less interesting, but the gameplay is better. There are more weapons, more plasmids (and you can use them simultaneously with your weapons), and the style is altered so that, instead of running around the whole time and shooting enemies as you run into them, you usually know when you are going to be attacked and you have time and supplies to prepare.
Admittedly, I liked Bioshock 1 a little bit more because it was a surprise and incredibly original. Being a sequel, Bioshock 2 loses those qualities. Don't let that prevent you from playing a really good game though.
I don't want to ruin the story for anyone either, but the game is incredibly unique in the way that the choices you make have a significant impact.

I just started playing it ($20 from Walmart). Does that mean I'll need to play it multiple times to see what happens based on your different choices, or does it all converge in the end?
