The number of times throughout that storm that I saw people complaining about cancellations...
Well excuse the hell out of WestJet for not wanting their $70 milion airplanes to get literally blown off the ramp, and oh God the disaster if they were boarding and the plane separates from the jetway and somebody falls or something...

I'm planning to go and get the arrival. There is a flightplan filed for the same plane YYC-EGVN. That is RAF Brize Norton in the UK, no doubt making this another British troop charter.
I setup flightaware email alerts for certain conditions. One of them is any 747-400 filing a flight plan to YYC. So when that happens I get an email. I think free users of Flightaware can get up to 10 free alerts. I also have notices set to A380's, 787's, Antonov 124's, and the 747-800's.

Tougher to keep a black plane cool in the summer, I suspect... but my God does it look awesome. I can't think of a livery that would look bad if they just did a blackout version of it.
Saw the United 747 leaving southbound at 1700 today, was wondering why it was here.
I was in the terminal when it took off, the amount of dust it kicks up during taxi and take off was remarkably more noticeable than any plane, looked like it used almost all the runway to take off.
