Hey, for any Pips Board game cafe vets, any suggestions for games to play on a first date? Obviously 2 players and light hearted or funny, not super intense?
Forbidden Island! Work together on an Indiana-Jones style sinking island to capture treasure and make it out alive. Easy to learn, and then fun to plan and work together.

I'm not well versed in two player games, I had fun playing Escape two player. That being said you'll have download the sound track on a phone, it's a real time game that gives audio cues. It's not that loud. It's cooperative, which I always think is great for dates. Pips might have better cooperative games, I just can't remember.

Looking for some 3 player game recommendations. I was looking at possibly getting 7 Wonders or Race the Galaxy but I am interested to hear some suggestions.
My son and I bought a starter pack of those NHL 3 inch figures from Import Dragons for his friend for his birthday. They have blind bags too, looks like a money pit. Anybody bought these and/or played the game? It just looks like a dice roller, good for kids.

There is a two player version of 7 Wonders now, Duel, and the reviewer said it is better than the original game.
Do you prefer Roll over Race? I haven't played 7 Wonders but it sounds like fun.

A friend of mine has King of Tokyo and I can't say I am a fan of it. I don't hate the game but I never find myself excited to play it and I am not sure why.
