#### you Familia

Led the Majors in saves but always makes it so damn difficult.

Also blew 3 games in the World Series last year as well... So frustrating

I don't know, watching MadBum take it to the level seemingly only he can get to is pretty fun to watch.

The most cursed team vs. the most blessed.

Madbum lowered his unreal playoff ERA.

Bumgarner already has to be one of the best post season pitchers ever. You can see that these guys expect to win.

Bumgarner just owns October, such a stud.

Syndergaard was just as dominant. Pitch count got up but still, 7 shutout innings is all you can ask for in an elimination game.

Mets had a tough year. So many injuries and for them to still make the playoffs is impressive considering they were 2 games below .500 in late August. Hopefully next year they can get their starting rotation back healthy and ready to go for the start of the season.

Cubs have been the best team all year but it's an even year and this Giants team won't go away quietly. Its going to be fun to watch.

Love postseason baseball. It's definitely easier on the heart when your team is not in it.

I'll pick Cubs vs Jays in the World Series with the Cubs winning it all and finally breaking the 108 year curse.

I want this guy to give me the lottery numbers. Time stamped in about the 4th inning last night.

That game was a blast to watch. Syndergaard was mowing down the giants. He actually made it look almost effortless and still looked good. I'm surprised that they pulled him as early as they did. He doesn't swing a bad bat (obviously he's not a hitter or MadBum), but he was dealing.

http://www.sfgate.com/giants/article...me-9827575.php

Bumgarner ran his postseason shutout streak to 23 innings. He also has a 23-inning scoreless streak in elimination games.

The Giants improved to 9-0 in such games under Bruce Bochy and 8-0 in Bumgarner's postseason road starts.

A bunch of solo home runs already in this game. Benintendi to go up 2-1, then Perez for the Indians to tie it 2-2 now Kipnis 3-2.

And now Lindor!!! wow 4-2 Tribe!

Then Napoli crushed one out of the building but well foul and Ramirez took Porcello to the wall as well. Think the Indians have him figured out? Haha

http://grantland.com/the-triangle/ml...ths-to-ignore/

For a few reasons — colder weather, better defense, and a more selective pool of pitchers — scoring decreases in the playoffs. It’s a common misconception that to succeed in that low-offense environment, teams need to play more small ball, because when runs are more scarce, hitters have to try harder to “manufacture” them.
