I don't think you over-react and do anything after 3 games. The weird thing is that his FG% is fine - it is the extra points that he's blowing. More to the point - if you have Maver perform double duty it could impact his punting - and now you have two problems instead of one.

Extra points are definitely the biggest problem, but he's only 71% for field goals as well which is pretty poor.

Sorry but the hate for DD on this discussion is really unjustified - give it a rest - DD has always been a very smart football guy - how do you think he succeeded as a QB with so little mobility in the CFL. The Stamps have transitioned relatively seamlessly to a new coaching staff and lost quite a few starters on the offence and Juwan Simpson on the defence. Yet still have been the one of the top teams in the league over the first 5 weeks - playing most of their games away from Calgary. As for the usage of Jerome Messam - what do you expect when you have the best QB in the CFL behind centre. BLM can thread the needle. You can be sure Messam signed with this team knowing its a throw first offence.

Good win tonight. Feel bad for Drew Willy. He really needs a fresh start somewhere else.

Sorry, but the criticism is 100% warranted. His play calling has been a big
Part of 2 blown wins in only 4 games this season.

There's no arguing that he was a great player, but that doesn't automatically make you a great coach. How did coaching work for Wayne Gretzky? I don't think anyone is calling for his head, but the jury is still out and there are some valid concerns. I'm sure he'll get used to it, but it hasn't been pretty to date.

Us complaining about DD at 2-1-1 is a lot nicer than what Bomber fans must be feeling. That club is a mess right now.

Our 2 wins this season have come against the Bombers, so we'll have to see how the team looks good forward. The Bombers are terrible.

And that leaves the question, how long do you wait around for Parades to figure things out? Down the road, one of those missed field goals could cost them the game with no seconds left.

You obviously want to give him the benefit of the doubt given his history with the club and his previous performances, but just how long is that leash?

Peredes is a good kicker but something is not right upstairs with him right now as there's no excuse for being 60% on single point conversions. You can make a case if he was on his game from the season opener the Stamps are 4-0 as he's left points on the table in every single game. He seems to kick best when there's someone pushing him as after Peredes had that down season Huff brought in Crapigna and Peredes was great making it possible to trade for Messam. Now he's back to being poor again. Sucks to waste a roster spot on another kicker but possibly Maver can start practicing the single point kicks.

Personally I would simply go for 2 point conversions as teams make better than 50% of them and with the rate Peredes is missing the single point kicks there's really nothing to lose by going for 2 points on every conversion. Huff used to do this a lot but DD seems hesitant.

And on the flip side of that, our only loss came in a game we pretty much dominated for most of it, and really should've won. And our tie came on the road against arguably the best team in the CFL. Weird year so far.

Can be tricky to tell, as any success against Winnipeg should be taken with a grain of salt. But it really looks like the offence is slowly starting to come around. Quay is so playing the veteran Nik Lewis role of about 3-4 years ago (when Nik was still effective). Love that guy.

McDaniel is the most underrated player in the league and has been for many years now. You need a first down, this guy is going to get you it.
