Was posted in the "Do you like Movie Trailers" thread. Thought this would help hype Civil War.
Also, noticed while browsing reddit that first impressions based on test screenings are expected to be out this Friday. Granted, first impressions are usually fans, but I thought it was interesting information regardless.

This isn't a complaint or anything, just random musing.
I wonder how they are going to handle Black Panther's abilities. He is just a dude, albeit a very fit and strong dude with awesome fighting abilities and a vibranium suit. But still just a dude.
In the cuts of the trailers' we see Cap having trouble catching him in a run as well as seemingly being overpowered by him as he pulls his shield down. This is the same supersoldier who was holding a freaking helicopter in another cut. Its going to be interesting.
I'm looking forward to this. The Captain America movies have been consistently good, probably the best of them all, and this is coming from someone who's not a fan of the character.

I'd have to think the suit gives him added strength (and thus speed).

He gets superhuman strength and abilities from a herb.
The title "Black Panther" is a rank of office, chieftain of the Wakandan Panther Clan. As chieftain, the Panther is entitled to eat a special Heart-Shaped Herb which, in addition to his mystical connection with the Wakandan Panther God, grants him superhumanly acute senses, strength, speed, agility, stamina, durability, healing and reflexes.[2] . He has since lost this connection and forged a new one with another unknown Panther deity, granting him augmented physical attributes as well as a resistance to magic.[64] His senses are so powerful that he can pick up a prey's scent and memorize tens of thousands of individual ones. Following his war with Doom, T'Challa loses his enhanced abilities only to once again establish a connection with the Panther God.[67] In addition to the resurgence of his abilities, he is anointed "King of the Dead", granting him the power and knowledge of all the past Black Panthers as well as the ability to control the undead.[78]
As king of Wakanda, the Panther has access to a vast collection of magical artifacts, advanced Wakandan technological and military hardware, as well as the support of his nation's wide array of scientists, warriors, and mystics. The Wakandan military has been described as one of the most powerful on Earth. His attire is the sacred vibranium costume of the Wakandan Panther Cult.
He is a skilled hunter, tracker, strategist, politician, inventor, and scientist. He has a Ph.D. in Physics from Oxford University. Considered one of the eight smartest people on the planet,[79] he is a genius in physics and advanced technology, and is a brilliant inventor. He also has been granted the strength and knowledge of every past Black Panther.[67]
T'Challa is a rigorously trained gymnast and acrobat and is a master in various African martial arts as well as contemporary martial arts and fighting styles that belong to no known disciplines.
The chieftain of the Wakandan Panther Clan is one of the wealthiest people in the world.

I just bought it but via their atom app. If you download it and answer some questions they give you a free movie. Saved me and the misses $32!
The free movie is good my wife and son used it, there is a separate line at the theatre for picking up food bought from the app but no one is ever attending it yet. Country Hills anyway
No kidding. Crowfoot needs to step it's game up. That theatre is a hole.
Yeah I'm about equidistant to crowfoot and country hills and while I'm not a huge landmark fan I've been going there more and more.
I absolutely hate CrossIron. Every time I go there parking is a nightmare and even though the AVX theatre is nice, it isn't worth the extra drive and the extra money.
I really wish landmark would get on board with updating that country hills theatre to have dolby atmos. Then I'd be there every time.
Oh and I also got that free movie thru Atom app. Plus it's a $1 cheaper already. That means I get super sweet recliners for me and the g/f with no stupid 3d for $12.25 total. That's 90s Tuesday night pricing.
