Sweet, thanks guys. Nakota is a bit far but we'll give Carriage House a crack. Thanks!

Actually ended up at Smuggler's because they'd take a reservation but Carriage House wouldn't. It was pretty awesome. Adults are $21 each and kids are $1 for every year in their age (e.g. a four year old is $4). Food was great and there were lots of meat and seafood options in addition to the usual brunch items.

I liked taking the family to Cora's even for brunch, but it's always so crowded it turns me away. They sit you so close to the next table that they can take part in your conversation. Joey's is another one that's like that.

Milestones does brunch until 4 and their prime rib hash is so so good. Try it once and you'll be hooked.

Try Galaxie and Kawa Espresso Bar downtown, and
Eat!Eat!, The Deanne House at Fort, and Wildernest Dream Cafe on 9th Ave. in Inglewood next time. Anything on 9th Ave. in Inglewood actually.

I am confused, isn't VladtheImpaler a long time member here? Why does it say mar 2012 and have a different icon?

Well Detective Brotato, I'm VladThe Impala. I'm new. Also, I'm a chick. Write that sh*t down. Remember it. I don't appreciate being called a dude when I CLEARLY HAVE A VAGINA.

I always make an effort to go when I go back but my family loves going up for the buffet at the top of the COP (ATCO Centre?). Great views, decent price and a wide selection for a buffet style brunch.

Ah, it's good to see the newest incarnation of Beerfest has been laid to rest. As far as buffets, for something fancy, the old Lake Bonavista Inn used to do a nice one. It's called something else now, but I assume it's still good. Also, the Heritage Park one is solid - nothing fancy, but if your family likes the Old West decor, something to consider...

I live right by the Inn at Lake Bonavista. Unfortunately, they stopped doing their Sunday brunch last year.
Also, I'm pretty stoked a troll mucked around in my thread.

They are doing it again - because whatever it's called now, it has a Sunday brunch I believe...
