I got W2 tickets and am pumped to go.

On another note, can this just go into the general music festivals thread? Do we need a separate one for just 2 festivals when there are so many now?

Looks really bad to me. Maybe I'm not in touch with music as much as I was, but it seems like there should be about 3 times as many higher end headliners. Seems as though a lot of these festivals look pretty flat. Is the day of the big act relying on festival appearances over?

Woof. Sasquatch has been in rough shape money wise the last few years, and there were rumors they wouldn't be back in 2017. Looks like they cancelled a day, kept ticket prices the same and then tried to half ass the lineup.....yikes.

That's a shame. The gorge is my favorite venue, and Sasquatch was definitely one of my favorite events when I was younger. The ticket prices are out of control now too..$350 USD plus camping on top?

I see LiveNation has their stamp on it, too. I think we may be fully entering an era of music festival decline. The market is oversaturated at the moment and appears ripe for a correction.

Music festivals are starting to become like fast food chains. Lots of great mom and pop shops, then McDonalds, Burger King etc come in and start eating up the little guys and placing themselves in every popular area.

Like that Sasquatch line-up is barely a notch above Calgary's X-fest last summer (it also had 21 pilots headlining) which was panned as a disaster line-up that saw their crowds implode to 8k from the usual 14-17k per day.

X-fest and Sasquatch shouldn't even be in the same breath when X-fest is firing on all cylinders let alone on a horrible year.

Nah, she still will. It might be a little more low key than a regular Beyonce show would be, but I don't think she would pass this up. I mean, MIA did Super Bowl when she was like 7 or 8 months, no?

Interesting to see who will replace her! My money is on Chance, but we will see. Those are some mighty big shoes to fill.

I heard Chance is likely to replace her as well. His tour starts on the Monday after W2 Coachella and is in San Diego.

That or they go with someone totally unexpected.....I'd love to see Jamiroquai seeing as they just released a new album and their tour starts in May.

DP would totally shock me. I can't see them putting a performance together in 6 weeks; at least not one to their standards. They would need at least 5 or 6 months to prepare.

Side note - the released the set times and I'm gutted that I have to decided between Kendrick and Justice. I'm sure I'll go Justice but I'm shocked Coachella scheduled that.
