Like to see Bouma and Bart switched out in Nashville, they both had bad games tonight.

Man Bennett looked good with Frolik and Backlund. He was actually moving the puck instead of trying to do everything himself.

Hung in there with the best team in the NHL.
Not even mad.

They lost to the top team in the NHL. There are a lot of positives to consider in this one
- Monahan and Gaudreau combining for a nice goal
- Secondary scoring contributing (Brouwer, Chiasson, Versteeg both with points)
- Elliott with another solid game

so the caps are a pretty ok team I guess.
1) Elliott played great
2) We missed Chuckie and Ferland
3) Bennett looks like he's on the cusp of something special and Brouwer scored!!! So thats positive!

No shame in losing to the best.
Ovi with 3 points, continues to love playing against the Flames.

Whatever.
Mumps. Top players getting suspended. No calls/bounces. Top players on the other side flying.
Sometimes you can't trudge through the swamp.
Finish the trip strong.

Thought they actually played reasonably well for most of the game, Caps are just excellent though. On to the next one!

Didn't think Bart was bad enough or caused any goals to warrant a benching. Thought Gio was the brutal D tonight.

Above average road game. Proves that you can give inches to the best team. Take it away and move on. Have a good feeling about next game.
Bouma should sit in favor of Hathaway.

Lost to the best team in the NHL with a third of our top-6 out. No shame in that. Can't win them all, so move on and get ready to go in Nashville.

Only saw the 3rd, but the effort seemed there.
...I hope the Caps get bounced in round 1.
