2015-2016 NHL Box Selection Pool ($20 Per Entry)

With Bingo's permission I'm posting the NHL pool I run. Box selection pool. $20 per entry.

Rules:
- Pick 1 guy from each of the 21 boxes
- Top 20 scorers will count
- Skaters Scoring (Goal = 1 point, Assist = 1 point) | Goalie Scoring (Win = 1 point, Shutout = 2 Points (Shutout win total 3 points)
- Entry Deadline is Sept 30, 2015 (However if you get it in before the deadline you will be allowed to make a change in case of an injury). Nothing after Sept 30th.
- Payout to be determined (there will be monthly winners, 7 of them, October/November/December/January/February/March&April Combined). Team that posts the highest point total for that calendar month will win some money (TBD). Rest will be 70-20-10 breakdown for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishes.

Once all entries are in I will send a pool log in (will be hosted at pickuphockey.com again) and the money breakdown.

What sort of prize pool (number of entries) do you usually have? I'm probably interested because I don't have any other pools to get involved in this year.

Last year I had 40 entries. First place won $560. We likely have more entries this year but thats TBD.

One year I joined a box pool that some guy I didn't know organized with 127 entries and $20 entry fee. When I won the guy sent me $400. I was ####ing furious.

That's ####ty. Btw, you and I have met at the CP drafts that Aeneas organizes. Anyways, last years first place winner was MJK (CP user) and he got his $560 right away.

Also, there are a few other who know me personally; Slava and Dropit being couple of them.

I am part of the CPHL as well (long-timer in fact) so there's no way I'm jacking someone's money.

The breakdown will come after all the entries are in. Total = monthly winners + 70% 1st place + 20 % 2nd place + 10% 3rd place. I won't be making any money off of it unless I win a month or place 1-3rd (I will also be emailing a copy of my picks to all the participants before the season starts).

So don't worry, this is legit.

Can we just send a list of our picks to the specified email or do we need to re-send a modified pdf file?

Yes, you can do that. Just make sure your name, email and the payment info is there so i dont mix it with other online entries.

These are the kind of pools I like. Pick you players before the start of the season and your done. No weekly updating or trades.

I've done other hockey pool where you have to set roster every day and I just don't like that or teams that would bench their goalie after they met the minimum games. Don't like those kinda pools anymore.

Pick once and you're set to go. No changes required.
