CBJ was the 6th highest scoring team in the league. Bobrovsky didn't need to steal a lot of games with that offense.

No doubt. Anyone who thinks he won't be going for the maximum is fooling themselves. Why wouldn't he?

I imagine people will continue to speculate on him taking a little less to help with the salary cap situation. But I doubt you'll hear many voices saying he doesn't deserve the max or to be the highest paid player in the league.

Erik Karlsson could have been a solid nominee as well, especially if you consider what the Hart trophy is supposed to be awarded for.
