I think Odor was the third out of an inning 4 times tonight. I love it. Turd.

It's fitting that the last out is Odor. I'm surprised he didn't punch Goins for sliding into him.

Back to within 1 game of .500?
So tomorrow they probably give up 8 in the 1st.

I'll say this much for Goins. For such a bad hitter with such a ####ty average, he sure has come up with some huge hits this year.

Watch the replay of his double in the ninth. He was running full out the whole way. I like that.
Also liked seeing Bush blow the save.

Even better. Boston, Baltimore and the Rays all lost today.

Osuna ha's really got himself right. 0.78 WHIP and a 36/2 K/BB on the season. After that awful start he's been as good as ever.

Every win over the Rangers feels so good. Helped that I had some money on the game today.

God damn do we need to win tonight, if only to become the 30th, and last, team in MLB to achieve a .500 record.

Putting up Ryan Goins-level offence will lead to that... unless you are Ryan Goins.
Though I did get to see Goins hit that triple on Sunday when I was in Skydome, which is a lot like seeing a unicorn.

I was listening on the radio when I heard the Goins triple and thought to myself that something weird had to happen on that play to let him get to third. Watched the Bluejays in 30 and sure enough the outfielder missed both cutoffs. The ball didn't even reach the wall.
Speaking of which, I get a bit annoyed at how lenient scorers are on outfielders. Honestly, the real scoring for that was a double and an error, but they are never recorded like that. The only time outfielders get errors is when its a major blunder, but they almost never get hit with them when they just make bad plays.

So, what's the over/under for how long Liriano stays in there if he keeps this up?

That play by Pillar was ugly. He hasn't been the same since his suspension.

And the Jays leave a lead off runner stranded yet again.
Nice.
