As someone who's enjoyed Singer's take on the X-Men, I'm definitely looking forward to this. I hope we get through this high stakes movie without a ridiculous body count that paints the franchise into a corner like The Last Stand (dame you, Ratner) while still giving some gravity to what could be the last turns for McAvoy, Fassbender, and Lawrence.
DOFP was so terrible that I don't have much hope that this is going to be any better, and the trailer didn't really make me stand up and make me go hell yeah baby.

I thought marvel lost the rights - why is their studio logo still there?
Marvel still owns the rights and copyrights to all of its characters. Since X-Men was licensed to Fox, that means Marvel Studios can't make the X-Men films, like it makes the Avengers and related movies. But even though Fox is making the movie, its still with Marvel characters. Hence, the Marvel logo. Not the Marvel Studios logo.

DOFP was awesome! Probably the best superhero movie to date.

Looks like the current iteration of the other superhero franchises - "OK, we've had [hero(es)] fighting regular enemies for a while, time to trot out the god-like villan that poses a threat the likes of which they've never faced before."

Part of the original rights sale was to have Marvel signage before the movies. This is well before Marvel decided to start their own studio. If you go back and watch anything from Blade to XMen to Fantastic 4, they all have the Marvel logo in front. Not the Marvel Studios logo though.
But seriously it looks pretty good. Saw the last couple on Netflix but this one might be worth going out for.
Haha, I was wondering about this. Does not having any hair increase his mental power? Oh and it was hilarious seeing my GFs reaction to James McAvoy bald. She let out a Darth Vader "Noooooooo!" haha.
Also, DOFP was enjoyable but talk of it being the best super hero movie of all time is a little much (Wasn't even the best of the year [Cap 2]).
Adding Wolverine to the cast of Origins was genius however the plot was ridiculous and riddled with holes. It also felt like the whole lets change history so X3 never happened to be very contrived.
