Does the CP collective know if anyone local can fix the new iPod Nano (the square touch ones from earlier this year)? My 11 y/o dropped his and cracked the screen pretty bad, and is heartbroken.
^^ Their price for fixing the cracked screen on an iPod Touch seems higher than the Apple store's quoted price of $99 and they would just replace the iPod (I went down on Sunday to ask at Market Mall).
Did you check what they would do at the Apple Store for your Nano?

Just take it to the apple store and see what they say.
I had cracked the screen on my ipod touch, and they just swapped it out for free becasue it was only a few months old.
It's not covered under warranty, but it never hurts to ask.
