What kind of computers does your company use?

Primarily Dell at the moment.

We buy 3-year off-lease Optiplex models from CDI, currently spending ~$200 for Core2Duo models. For what we use them for they are just fine (and cheap!).

In the past we've gone through Compaq (crap!) and HP (SuperCrap!). Some of the Dells small form factors had poor design resulting in overheating and venting capacitors but they fixed these in later models. Really, any company is capable of making lemons.

We have laptops from many different manufacturers.

FYI we use Dell and a small core of Apples. A significant barrier to wider Apple adoption is the power of the IT department and their reluctance to learn how to support a different system.

We support our own Macs...and like it that way TBQH
