Who you looking forward to seeing, troutman? There are fewer bands I know this year compared to previous festivals, so I'm going to be spending a lot more time discovering new acts.
I'm also excited to see the comedians they've brought up this year. I missed seeing Neil Hamburger get punched in the face last time he was here.

My must-sees are Thurston Moore, Malkmus and The Hold Steady. Otherwise, I am keen to check out new bands. I might be a volunteer at some of the events.
The Sled Island podcast should be a good introduction to all the artists.
picked up some sweet original sled island posters on sunday at the market collective. apparently they only made 50 originals of each. we managed to snag a raveonettes and braides posters from last year.

I have the Raveonettes poster too, signed by Sharin.
I think most venues would have a $10 cover charge, except for the larger events. I think that is what I paid to see four bands at The Gateway last year.
Any other volunteers here? Meeting Sunday at the Plaza Theater.

I'm considering this, did you do it last year?
Edit: I’d recommend Cowpuncher, saw them perform at The Ship two Saturday’s ago. They were the opening act for Dojo Workhorse (The Dudes other band) but I personally thought they stole the entire show and were by far the best act. I will be seeing them again for sure.
Wed night I plan to be at the Legion - upstairs to see the Shrapnelles, then downstairs to see the return of Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet (Kids In The Hall Theme).
Thurday, looks like I will be volunteering at the afternoon/evening gig at National Music Center. So, I may get to meet the infamous Narduwar from The Evaporators.
Friday afternoon I am undecided, but for sure will go see Thurston Moore Friday night at Theatre Junction Grand. Later I don't know yet.
Saturday at Olympic Plaza for Shabazz Palaces, The Dudes, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, and The Hold Steady. Later maybe Archers of Loaf at Republik.
Feist - can I take you to Peter's Drive-in?
I may be found at the Gateway sometimes (close to home). I will be wearing a SF Giants cap if any CP people want to have a beer. My twitter is @troutman1966.
Wednesday I'll be at Dicken's for Indian Handcrafts/And So I Watch You From Afar/Russian Circles then head to Broken City after for Trust. I never thought ASIWYFA would come here, they've been one of my favourite bands for a few years now and they are friggin' epic
Thursday I'm gonna go to Boris @ Commonwealth, then either Hot Snakes @ Dicken's, Shabazz Palaces @ Broken City or The Sadies @ The Legion. Nothing too important for me to see this day so I'll probably just float around everywhere, see what my friends are doind
Friday is looking like Feist @ Olympic Plaza, then How To Dress Well @ HiFi and after that either Boris @ Distillery or Strange Boys @ Broken City
Aaaand Saturday I'll be at Olympic Plaza for Shabazz Palaces/The Dudes/Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks/Hold Steady, then I'll try and see Archers of Loaf @ Republik and Andrew WK @ The Legion.
Tonight I'm thinking of wandering back and forth between the Palamino and The Legion to check out Oh No! Yoko and The Shrapnelles, then heading down to The Republik for The Antlers. If I'm free early I might stop by the Auburn to check out a couple comedians. Should be a great night!
OH MAH GAWD THE ANTLERS! The Republik is going to be packed tonight.
