Diablo 3 - Patch 2.4 / Season 5 (starts tonight)

I was going to bump a previous thread but figured I may as well start a new one.

Patch 2.4 was release this past Tuesday, and starting tonight at 6pm Calgary time the new Season 5 will launch.

Anyone thinking of playing? I'm really looking forward to trying the re-tooled Invoker set for the Crusader.

Tried out the new patch early, will probably start a seasonal character for the first time ever. Need the stash space reward.

Hardcore player here. Will do a firebird wizard this time around. Stash space is king!

As always I will play the season and burn out in a few weeks. I love starting so fresh and so clean.

I built a hardcore witch doctor in Season 3 after a long hiatus. But then I lagged and died to some lame trash mob, and haven't played since lol. Maybe I'll give this new season a try.

How is everyone's progress so far? I've been playing the Invoker Thorns build and have cleared a 71 Grift with it. I'm looking for a better T10 rift speed build, and I'm thinking I'll give Alkaizer's steed charge/bombardment build a try.

Haven't started a seasonal character yet. Still messing around with non-season, trying out the various builds. Will probably start a season crusader soon, so i can unlock the extra stash space.

So far I'm liking where demon hunters and WD are at. Trying to gear up a DMO Wizard at the moment.

When/if you do decide to switch over to seasons, make sure you choose your first level 70 character carefully. You only get the free 6 piece set 1 time per season.

Decided to go wit Crusader. Invoker set seems interesting/different. I also didn't have any extra character slots so I had to delete one of my non-seasons and Crusader had the least amount of gear to move over. Currently at lvl 44 so I should be at lvl 70 and at least get my first 4 pieces after another night of playing.

There have been a massive amount of changes over the years. If you last played it when it was new it may as well be an entirely different game now.

Do you just have the base game, or the Reaper of Soul expansion also?

You pretty much need the expansion since i believe it opens up lvl 61-70. After lvl 70 is when the fun starts.
