Weird problem with my computer

Not sure how to describe this, but here goes.

Whenever I click on something it seems to unclick within 3 seconds. It is happening everywhere. Email, internet, even typing this post. Every four letters, I have to re-click on the field to continue typing.

You must be using a PC...and they found out.

Your mouse or trackpad are somehow activating on their own.

You could try rebooting, a new mouse, disable your trackpad, uninstall your USB hubs in Device manager (and reboot to reinstall).

Yeah, I had already rebooted.

I do think it's the mouse, seems to jump back or disengage for lack of better term.
