Dougie had a good game. Not sure you could say that about anyone else tonight.
Big game on Saturday for Elliott against his former team. 0-3 on this road trip would be pretty tough to swallow -- especially when two of those games are 4 pointers in the wildcard race.

Real sloppy game from the Flames. Get Tkachuk back and get Stajan back with Bouma. Bennett looked lost out there to me, no flow to that line at all. At least at centre he send defensively responsible.
Oh well. Move on.

At this point I just want to get in. The Flames probably aren't looking past that right now. If the Oil lose tonight it's still very much game on as to who finishes 3rd in the division. The first step is to get in, then we worry about who we play. I still think we can finish 3rd. Also, anything can happen in the playoffs, that's why they are so much fun. Whether that is Chicago or whoever.

I just mean Quenville has probably never been described as having an "elite sense of desperation" which is the weirdest qualifier I've heard in some time. While I was vocally concerned about GG and remain a bit confused about some of his decisions, "Laissez-faire" isn't really how I'd describe him
