I don't think we see Johnson in another game this season as a Flame unless it's the last game of the season which means nothing or Elliott getting pulled

As I said in the GT, you're not going to win a ton of games going 0/5 on the PP. Rinne made some big saves and outplayed Johnson at the end of the night. If one or two of those posts go in, it's a completely different game.

Johnson with some big saves early on. This game is on our PP and lazy 5 on 5 dzone clears. Brodie was off too.

Don't think any of the 3 goals against were on Johnson. The team blew it defensively on all 3.
Didn't like how the team insisted on dumping it in only for Rinne to play it every single time.

Fair..But still got SJ twice and Anaheim twice. Plus Elliott against his old team, maybe they want him to have a bit of a break as the next couple weeks going to be a tough stretch.
Also, with that atrocious PP today and some forwards looking off, probably wouldn't have won.

PP totally let them down tonight. Hopefully they can get back in the win column against the Blues on Saturday with Tkachuk and Elliott back in. Don't want to fall into a losing streak with only 8 games left. This team needs to regain their confidence and get some of that swagger back in their game.
And for Christ sake, fix the damn PP.

Johnson wasn't bad but he wasn't good either. Bad move not starting Elliott and playing Johnson on Monday instead.

Honest to god. Do you actually think GG doesn't get that? Do you think it's likely he failed at the math? Do you honestly think he doesn't think Col us our weakest out for the rest of the year?
