Or at least give the guys a steadicam - I've skated with a steadicam on it's not that hard.

WTF? Is that a vase full of corks in the middle of the table?
Ovechkin's leftovers from last night?

The All Star game could definitely use a revamping. Having it pre recorded made it ok but I couldn't imagine having to sit through it in real time. Feels way too disorganized and really doesn't show off the players skill like it should. The saucer passes into the mini nets is almost the best thing to watch. The accuracy contest is always good but I think they could definitely expand on it a bit. Some of these players have an insane amount of skill and I really feel like it isn't showcased like it should be.

I've always thought they should put celebrities in net for the shootout. Imagine Will Wheaton and Bill Burr talking trash for two weeks before the event and then NHL guys doing their best to make them look like a-holes. Less gimmick, more skill and no one's feeling like they got embarrassed.

Seeing them all laugh at Johnnys reaction is hilarious on its own. He'll be teased for a while, I'm sure.

I feel like a simple video like this demonstrates the skill of NHL players far more than the entire skills comp did.
NHL stars get creative with GoPro: http://youtu.be/PAVM2H9zV7M

Way more impressive. I think GoPro might be made for showcasing hockey. That vid is unbelievable. I'm really looking forward to them being used in games.
I almost want to get back into ice hockey just to use mine haha.
