Hey this reminds me, you there Roger? What's Mr. Millions take on the events of the past few days?
Roger is currently in Vancouver calling the Rebels/Giants game for Sportsnet along with Ryan Walter.

He eats toast with LOTS of peanut butter.
Tell him to give Mr. Bettman a pat on the back for me, although I'm sure many would add to that sentiment.

Ken, welcome to the board. Like many others here I want to say that you and the Flames organization have my full support.
Just one question Ken. It may seem naive or something but having been a Flames fan since day 1, I often think back to the early 80's when no players had any idea what other players were making. Kent Nilsson didn't know Lanny McDonalds salary and vice versa. To my way of thinking, making salaries public knowledge is the biggest reason we are where we are today. Do you think with the new NHL landscape that is on the horizon there would be any way to take public salaries out of the equation?

Mr. King, I've changed my nickname to support our Team to the fullest it is all that matters to me. I support everything you've done and you've been great to me when answering emails. You are also directly responsible for the positive spin the team has taken since 2000, the hiring of Darryl Sutter and no team could have a better team president..

We will also be keeping our seats we've decided, quite easily but will take some of the money out towards a vacation... much needed after the emotional roller coaster that was and is this lockout.

Thanks for visiting Calgarypuck, by the way!

GO FLAMES GO!

I'm pretty bad at keeping up to you guys so sorry in advance. Had a good chat with Darryl before leaving the office today and he is awesome. Told one of our owners that with him at your side in a press conference you are bullet proof. KK
Hi Ken

I don't doubt for a second having Darryl in a press conference helps.

Question: What do you think is going to be the catalyst to get the two sides together again? I am afraid we won't see talks again until Jan 2006.

also, please ignore doh!biggen as he doesn't speak for one person on this list or in Calgary. next chance you get, ask him to please go to either a) toronto or b) europe or trenton. a) because he clearly doesn't understand albertans, and b) because it will let him cover the 2 new leagues that have "deep pockets".

also, if you see strachan, please punch him....he hates calgary. we hate him back.

and while i am at it, can you please ban healy and kyprios from the dome? thanks.
You my good man deserve a Calgarypuck lifetime achievement award!

Thank you Mr. King for coming on here and answering our questions. You guys are definitely the class of the NHL.

its kindof funny.

at first, i didn't think it was KK.

so i was kinda flippant about the whole thing...

and then reading that it WAS KK...oh man. embarrassed.

but i reread it and i kinda chuckled...so i thought that i would leave my blushes intact and hopefully it got some smiles out there at my expense on this gloomy day.

the real proof will be if the next time we see strachan he has a black eye!

i am just really pleased for CP.

and thanks again Mr. King for sharing your free time on such a stressful day.

I say it again with feeling...GO FLAMES GO!!!

Hey, congratulations CalgaryPuck, Bingo and KevanGuy! This is really a coup, and proves that CalgaryPuck is an important and relevant information source for the NHL, and Calgary Flames.

Well done.
