Preds miss the entire first period due to an extended wrestling match in the team shower. Barry Trotz is forced to play in net with no defense. Flames get out to a commanding 13-0 lead. Hold on to win 13-12 when the Preds show up for the second and third periods.

I was hoping Cervenka would draw in. Less than 4 minutes last game is not a way to judge a scoring forward. Saying that, I expect Flames to win to return back to .500. Nashville is a beatable team and will bode well morale wise for the Flames on the road if they come out with a win.

Trade deadline interests me and it will be interesting to see the Flames approach. Seeing Iginla traded, if he does get traded, will be tough. I will never support losing for the sake of losing though.

I suspect that Kipper will win this one for the Flames 2-1, all will be good until the Blue Jackets beat them tomorrow. But tonight it will be all Kipper.

Vocal groups are usually the teams that do well. That is not a good sign if they are quiet during gameplay.

It's also a prime reason I would like to see a massive change in the leadership core. A teams general attitude during a game stems from how leadership acts and reacts.

5-1 Flames
Flames re-sign Iginla and CP meltdown occurs.

Any chance you can give us a post game report on your experience in the PGT? I've always been curious to hear what the game experience is like in Nashville. Looks like a great place to catch a game.

Let's get Roenick as an assistant coach.

And then let's get Oliwa as the other assistant coach, so he can punch Roenick's mouth when it's multi-tasking too much.

I think it'll be a really close game. Preds aren't much better than the Flames, but the Flames are bad on the road.

I'll say it goes to a shootout and the Flames surprisingly win it with Hudler scoring the only SO goal.

I'm very split on what I'm cheering for these days. Part of me wants us to lose and semi-blow the team up (not complete rebuild), but I would also love to see a miracle run like in 04. This team looks good on paper and just haven't been able to build enough confidence or have a consistent flow to their game. I blame it on lack of identity like many have referred to previously. The Flames are a team that doesn't know what they're capable of.

That said, I'm cheering for the flames to win. It kills me to be below the oilers in the standings. Their fans are just way too annoying and I don't want them to start talking trash again.

Flames 4-2 Iggy, Cammy, Wideman, Backlund score

Hoping the Flames win tonight just because a loss never feels good. With that being said, Preds have lost 4 in a row and the Flames like to end streaks for teams. Preds win 4-2
