2010 Olympic Ticket Trade Thread
Thought we should have a thread in case anyone (like me) is looking to trade event tickets.
I have 2 tickets to Luge on the evening of Feb 15 plus 2 bus tickets out to Whistler, total cost is $83. I'd like to trade for something in Vancouver like Speed Skating. I'd pay any cost difference of course.
I also have 6 tickets to the Victory Celebration on Feb 17, would like to trade for same on Feb 16.

Don't worry about hijacking. I started the thread to keep all of this in one place. If it grows perhaps the mods could sticky it so it doesn't get lost?

Well, apparently VANOC has decided to sanction and join into the scalping game. Their ticketing site now has a fan-to-fan section where "fans" are allowed to scalp their tickets for whatever they want (with VANOC getting a 20% cut, of which they claim to be making no profit). Just a heads up for anyone looking for tickets or wanting to join the legalized scalping ring.
On that note, I have an extra pair of tickets for to see mens hockey powerhouses Germany v Belarus on Feb 20, . $300 face value for the pair.

I have 4 tickets to Mens Hockey Game IH029 Germany vs Belarus on Feb 20. Seats are in Section 111 Row 9. Looking to sell off as I won't be in Vancouver until the 26th. These cost me $140+$10fee/ticket. Right now I am looking to sell in pairs for $250CDN.
PM if interested.
Edit:
SOLD to some lucky guys in Germany!! In response to Poison's comment below... as dubc80 wrote in post #11 I did not choose the matchup it was just "Preliminary game" when I picked that one. I actually tried to put thought into this and figured they would schedule a good matchup on Saturday night... guess they wanted Canada vs USA on a Sunday morning instead.

I don't think you do understand the whole experience.
That is peanuts. This is not an every day hockey event. Tickets to Canada games are going for far, far more than that now. Keep in mind that $150 is getting you the best level seats, you can pay less for the upper section. (If you can manage to get tickets).
Its like going to the world cup of soccer..would you really expect to pay sport check zone prices for the games? This is the elite level international competition for hockey.
I paid $150 for a Russia vs Latvia game and I actually feel lucky that I managed to get some tickets to the event.
If you are disturbed by that check the regular prices to the gold medal game. And then check the reseller prices.

You couldn't pick specific games.
You bought tickets to "Mens Ice Hockey Preliminary game #1".
They scheduled the teams afterwards so there was no way to know what tickets you're trying for.
Germany vs Belarus could of been Canada vs USA.

Looking for a pair of tickets to the Men's hockey gold medal game. Haven't found anything less than about $4,000 right now so I'm hoping to find some a bit cheaper.
Willing to trade some Flames tickets and pay the difference.

I'm looking for 2 tix to the Mens Hockey Gold Medal game and got plenty of trade options available to get them including:
QF #2 tix (category 'A' and 'B' available, this is Canada's QF game)
Both Semi-Finals (category 'A' available)
Women's Gold medal game (category 'A' available)
Closing Ceremonies (category 'C' available)
Willing to work out a reasonable offer which would include any of the above for the Men's gold medal game. Could also throw in Flames tix if need be.
NOT looking to sell anything at this time, trades only.

Anyone have a rough estimate of how much 3ish events in 3 days (scalped obviously, hopefully with one of either mens hockey, figureskating or speedskating)with two nights hotel would cost, if even possible?
