Default Build your ideal team

Looking at teams around the league, if you had to choose a specific teams crop of forwards, defence and goaltending, to build your ideal team, who would you pick and why? Interested in seeing what some of you think. Some simple rules to keep in mind:

1) Can't pick the same team twice
2) Can't pick the Flames (or your own team should you not be a Flames fan)

For example I would probably lean towards the following:

Forwards: Washington Capitals - May not be a popular pick since they seem to choke in the playoffs but I believe they have the best top 6 in the league. Burakovski and Eller on line 3 are great options as well. Considered the Leafs due to the youth they have.

Defence: Anaheim Ducks - Pains me to say, but as I said in a previous thread, Manson, Montour and Theodore have really impressed me. They are all young as well. Add Fowler, Lindholm and Vatenen and they got an extremely mobile, young d core.

Goaltending: Montreal Canadiens - Pretty obvious selection but I was tempted to say the Leafs cause Anderson really impressed me in the playoffs. Price is probably the best goalie in the league and Montaya is a viable backup. Only thing is Price is a bit injury prone.

Doesn't have to be the best statistical teams either. You could base your selection based on who has the brightest future in terms of youth.

PS i'm not a leafs fan and was ecstatic they lost to Washington in round 1.

Forwards: Pittsburgh Penguins- Tough to beat the 1-2 punch of Crosby/Malkin down the middle, and they have more depth now with Kessel/Hornqvist and young players like Sheary/Guentzel.

Defensemen: Columbus Blue Jackets- Thought about going with Nashville with their top 4, but find there's a higher ceiling with Werenski/Jones and more depth with Murray,Savard,Johnson and the potential of Carlsson.

Goalies: Washington Capitals- With Price turning 30, I'd take Holtby (even though he's having a subpar playoffs) and the potential of Samsonov.

Forward: Toronto- Homer pick but I really like the group of forwards in Toronto and once they replace JVR and Bozak either with some of the young guys or via trade I think they will look even better.

Defence: Nashvile- They got it all. Puck movers and defensive specialists. A dynamic and fun group on the blueline.

Goal: Pittsburgh- Great young goalie. Should be set in goal for a long time with Murray.

F: Edmonton. The player everyone would pick 1st overall in a re-draft, Puljujärvi and Drais as more youth. Toronto would be close 2nd.

D: Nash or maybe TB just for Hedman.

G: Rangers, pretending they don't loose a goalie in the expansion draft

I don't know. Pens core is getting older. If I'm building a core for the future I want my forward group to be to be under 30.

Same goes for Price. I think we start to see Price falloff a bit in the upcoming seasons.

Forwards - Ducks

The hardest group to play against. Size. Skill. Speed. Experience. Depth.

Defence - Wild

Perfect balance of offence, toughness, shut down. The best top 4, best top 6, best top 8 and Suter is no slouch as a #1. They are the type of D that could get a run of the mill goalie multiple Vezina nominations.

Goalies - Penguins

This one is a no brainer. The only way someone could not pick the Pens goalies is if they had already picked the Pens forwards. Two goalies with championships as a starter. That won't happen again for a long time.
