How does nobody see Chaisson all alone back there in front of the goaltender? That's just embarrassing coverage.

Wideman was trying to put at least a zone between him and Chaisson.

Seriously, it's almost impressive how Sportsnet finds new ways to be crappy.
Sportsnet won't be cool until Kerr Instagrams a picture of his media lunch with a sepia filter.

Maybe that's the thinking behind the green jerseys: it creates some kind of optical illusion.

I find it hard to get excited for a line of Glencross, Stajan and Stemniak

This game has already been more entertaining than the Coyotes game.

Last year Glencross was struggling and was put on a line with Stajan and Stempniak and got his game back and became the best line for the better part of the end of the season. Hopefully Glencross finds his game again.

Also, never saw the replay, but the goal looked like a miscommunication between Backlund and Wideman there.

One defenseman can't play the entire game. This team needs to learn to play better defensive coverage in their own end. It's been a problem going back to last season.

Who am I kidding. He'll end up in a dumphole like Florida.
