Default Best found footage/personal recordings movies?

As the title says.
I do not know if using 'personal recordings' is the right phrase, but what I mean is a movie that follows someone/people who are video taping the whole movie.
Usually it is about horror, thriller, suspense and crime.

Just looking for what others could recommend.

I still love The Blair Witch Project... it was great, and the marketing behind it just added to the fun of it.

REC is pretty much the only found footage movie that isn't awful.

I'm a Paranormal Activity fan. The story got real silly in the last one when they implemented time travel, but I love the first few. I'll take the scares of not knowing what's around the corner anyday over the torture porn gore fests. Having said that, I do like the Saw franchise minus the final. So I'm just one big hypocrite. haha.

I second REC and REC2. I saw a bigfoot movie called Exists I think a couple weeks back that wasn't bad.

The V/H/S movies have some decent tales to them.

Blair Witch continues to be the king of found footage movie because of how it was made and how the actors were handled. This was one of the great reaction films, they did everything to get a reaction out of them, including playing the actors off of each other in real life.

Cloverfield was also a favorite because of the scale and effects of the movie.

I'm still waiting for a Cloverfield sequel since the monster in the first one was considered to be a baby.

I enjoyed a recent Canadian movie called Afflicted. Crazy good special effects on a low budget.

i don't know if the movie really had a name or not, but that Tommy and Pamela Anderson Lee movie was pretty big. I don't think a lot of people could ahve handled the whole thing.
