Yeah that's true. I have no issue with Cundari and Hanowski being reupped.

I like this added depth.
He did everything he was asked to do and did it with a positive attitude.
He likely wont play a game in the regular season with Calgary but I am sure he'll play a big role for the Adirondack Flames.
Also, hes 24 which is relatively young still.

Meh. This signing better not keep Kulak out of the top 4 in Adi.

What does that even mean?
If Kulak can't outplay Cundari, then Kulak isn't nearly as good as some people are suggesting.
You have to EARN your way.
Also, the Heat dressed 56 bodies last year. 56! An AHL team has to deal with not only their own injuries, but also having players called up due to the injuries of the big club. They probably still need 2 or 3 more defensemen yet.

With his trade to Chicago Wolves last season, is he allowed to play for Adirondack or is he going back to Chicago?
I like the signing. No risk just one season. If he plays well he earn another contract, if he doesn't then at least the Flames find out his potential.

He wasn't traded, he was loaned. And he is still Flames property.

player loans are only for the "current" season, since that season ended on July 1st, he will be in Adirondack.

Mark's AHL salary on this contract is $125,000.
Not a bad deal at all.

Mark Cundari is a little tank on the ice. He kind of plays the game like Mark Giordano. If he could put all the pieces together I think he could play in the NHL.
I think Cundari and Ramage both benefitted from time away from the organization last season and they should both have great years.
Could be a good bet for a break out season.

Cundari could be a bit of a sleeper like Byron was. I'd be hesitant to give up on him yet. That said, we can only really give so many 5/6 dmen ice time.

I don't think Cundari's a good enough skater to play with the big club from what I've seen.
Looks like his short legs can't go fast enough to keep up.

Well I for one like his game and the signing. Happy to have him back in the fold.
At the same time, as a short guy myself. I always cheer for the little guys. But if he makes the team and so does Johnny. We could have the shortest team ever lol. (Forgot cammi won't be back)

Organizational depth until Kulak and Culkin get a professional season under their belts. Look for those two to climb the depth chart this season and make Cundari expendable. This is probably it with the Flames for Cundari. He's playing for his professional life in North America this season.
