So i've been pretty much been playing D the past few months in OTP. Any good builds out there?

I was a defensive d man but switched to offensive for the speed and I find it quite a bit better.

OFD is ok if you don't like hitting much which suites your style m. the shot on OFD isn't great, but you can force passes a bit easier...TWD is what i prefer because it's actually the best skater IMO (OFD is a bit twitchy/off) and hits decently well while still being solid offensively. DFD isn't very good because of skating (slow and clunky), but lets you get the hardest clapper.

I don't mind the mic that comes with the ps4. Like Diem says, it's not the greatest, but it works good enough.

TWD is probably the best overall build allowing decent points in all areas. OFD allows better speed and skating which I find you benefit a lot from in this game.... If youre sound positionally, build an enforcer... You're an absolute beast at clearing the front of the net, hitting and have a massive slap shot... Skating will suck though, but still very useful and a ton of fun.

I play OFD because I found when I tried hitting I got out of position and looked like Dion out there. I just rely on pokes and max those and penalties. The better skating allows me to catch guys while being able to rock 9" skates.

btw ps gold wireless headset for $60 at futureshop/bb, probably going to PM elsewhere since stock is hit or miss. looks like a good headset for the price tho

It is a good headset, especially for gaming because it's really bright. I will be using the standard set for the ps4 until there is a single ear plug in that has a mic with a mute. I do however have a Razer that works great and a set of AGMs that sound amazing.

One thing I do like about headsets is when people are using the headphones for sound the mic feedback is none existent which is really nice

i just like the mute button so you guys dont have to listen to background noise lol
